You can charge your iPhone while it lays flat on the charging pad, or you can use the adjustable kickstand for flexible placement during charging. You can place the phone vertically to read notifications and messages while it charges or horizontally to stream video. A device that supports non-magnetic wireless charging can only be charged while laying flat on the charging pad.
